On Wednesday, March 21st 2018, Laura Musante Mehlman, wife, daughter, sister, and aunt, passed away at the age of 65. Laura will be forever remembered by her husband Marc Mehlman, her mother, Helen N. Musante, brothers Fred, Douglas & his wife Nancy, Clifford, Carl & his wife Robin, Joel, and nieces & nephews Christopher, Ashlan, Bradley, Chelsey, Sebastian, Isabella Noel, Michelle, & Isabella Rose.  Laura was predeceased by her father, Frederick L. Musante. Throughout her life, Laura was an example of human kindness, always showing great compassion towards others. While pancreatic cancer took her from us far too early, she remained optimistic and continued to care for her Mother, husband, other family members, until the very end.  Her smile and sense of humor were traits that she shared with ease, and to all that she met.  Laura loved to travel and found joy in being part of family gatherings. She has affected the lives of many people, and all of us see a world diminished by her loss. A Wake will be held on Sunday, March 25th from 2p.m. to 6p.m. in the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and 4 Gorham Place, Trumbull.  A Memorial service will take place on Monday, March 26th at 10a.m. at the Funeral Home.  Monsignor James Cuneo will preside over the service.
