Leonard F. Brooks, age 78 of Sandy Hook passed away Friday, June 21, 2019 at Danbury Hospital. He was the husband of the late Sharon Alexander Brooks. Born in Bridgeport, he was the son Leonard and Helen McAuley Brooks. He served in the US Army Reserves and has been a Newtown area resident since 1965. Leonard was the owner of A & B Ice Company. Survivors include his two daughters, Deborah Bruno and Susan Brooks, his son, Leonard M. Brooks, and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be private.
