Lillian McIntosh Haines, age 83 of Trumbull died Monday, June 28, 2010 at St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport. She was the beloved wife of William J. Haines. Born in Milford she was a Trumbull resident for the past 56 years. She was an employee of People's Bank where she worked for 27 years, retiring as a branch manager and also serving as assistant treasurer. Mrs. Haines was a member of the Trumbull Women's Club and the Order of the Eastern Star Monroe Chapter. She enjoyed bowling and golf. Survivors in addition to her husband include her daughter Deborah Bell and her husband Glenn, son Gary Haines and his wife Joan, sister Margaret Schiappa, six grandchildren, Jason Bell, Lori Bell, Matthew Haines, Megan Malay, Kyle Haines, and Kelly Haines, great granddaughter Riley Malay. She was predeceased by her parents John and Elizabeth York McIntosh and her sister Jean Tabak. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00am in the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull. Interment will be private at the convenience of her family.
