Louis F. Rovegno, age 99, of Oxford and formerly Bridgeport, passed away Wednesday at Lord Chamberlain Health Care Center. He was the beloved husband for 57 years of the late Theresa Rummo Rovegno. Louis was born in Bridgeport, son of Angelo and Victoria Musante Rovegno. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Louis owned and operated Louis Rovegno Builders and after his retirement continued carpentry with Facelifters. Survivors include his beloved daughter, Barbara Harris and her husband Arthur of Oxford and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, John A. Rovegno. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:00 am. from the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull and at 11:00 am. in Holy Name of Jesus Church, 1950 Barnum Ave., Stratford. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, with full military honors. Friends may call Tuesday morning after 9:00 am. in the funeral home.
