Louise D'Avanzo Caserta, age 93, of Fairfield, beloved wife of the late Guiseppe Caserta, passed away Friday, January 7, 2011 in Cambridge Manor. Louise was born in New Britain and spent most of her life in Bridgeport. She was a retired presser for the Panettieri Shirt Company, Bridgeport. Survivors include her devoted daughters, Camille Cervone and husband Angelo of Monroe, and Rose Ann Gluse and husband Joseph of Huntington, ten grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Louise was predeceased by two sons, Donald J. and Joseph P. Caserta, two sisters and brothers, Angelina Sardu, Anthony D'Avanzo, Anna DeCesare, and Constantine (Gus) D'Avanzo. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:00am meeting directly in St. Stephen Church, 6948 Main Street, Trumbull, with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
