Obituary

Louise C. James Charters, age 82, of Fairfield, beloved wife of the late Harold (Uncle Chick) F. Charters, died Monday, April 16, 2007, at St. Vincent's Medical Center. Louise was born in Auburn, ME, daughter of the late Perry and Helen Berry James and had been a Fairfield resident since 1956. She had worked for Voltarc before the company moved out of Fairfield and afterwards was a waitress for the Pizza Palace in Fairfield, where she made many friends serving the lunchtime patrons. Louise was an active member of the Fairfield Senior Center. Survivors include her loving children, two sons, Larry B. Bourque and wife Carol of Shelton, Kenneth F. Charters and wife Sally of Naugatuck and a daughter Peggy Foy of MA, a brother Robert James of ME, a sister Anna Wilding of Auburn, ME, grandchildren, Jody and Corey Bourque; also two addition grandchildren, three great grandchildren, Richard, Kevin and Ryan, special niece and nephew, Wendy Chisholm and John Charters and many more nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday, at 9:00 a.m. from the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 1719 Post Road, Fairfield, with a Mass of Christian Burial.
