Margaret Farrell Carbonneau R.N., age 98, beloved wife of the late Albert E. Carbonneau, died Sunday, April 19, 2009, at Maefair Health Care Center. A lifelong Bridgeport resident, Margaret was the daughter of the late Joseph M. and Bridget McCarthy Farrell. She received her nursing degree from the Bridgeport Hospital School of Nursing, was a member of the school's alumni association and enjoyed attending the annual dinner. She began her nursing career at Bridgeport Hospital and retired after many years in private duty. Margaret was a long time member of St. Andrew Parish and the B.A.R.F. Auxiliary. She was predeceased by two brothers, Joseph and John Farrell and two sisters, Anne Farrell Gulash and Kathleen Farrell McGrath. Survivors include two sisters-in-law, Gloria Farrell of Florida and Marie Farrell of Bridgeport; also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, at 10:30 a.m. from the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull and at 11:00 a.m. in St. Andrew Church, with a Mass of Christian Burial.
