Margaret Varhol Socha, age 90, beloved wife of the late Joseph A. Socha, passed away Saturday September 13, 2014, at Gardner Heights, Shelton. Margaret was born in Creekside, PA, daughter of the late Nicholas and Anna Opina Varhol and had lived  many years in Stratford. Survivors include her beloved daughter, Lynn Socha - Lopez of Fairfield, three sisters, Pauline Zingg, Agnes DeLuca, both of FL and Marie Barnard of Monroe, two cherished grandchildren, Julian and Chloe Lopez, of Fairfield, a brother-in-law, Paul Bereza of Stratford and a sister-in-law, Rose O'Brien of Bridgeport; also several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Alan J. Socha,
son-in-law, Francisco Lopez, four brothers and four sisters. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, at 11:00 a.m. in the Redgate - Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull, with the Rev. Victor Martin officiating. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery,Stratford. Friends may call Tuesday morning after 9:00 a.m..
