Margarita Sanchez, age 72, of Bridgeport passed away Sunday, January 2nd, 2022 at Danbury Hospital. Margarita was the mother of Victoria Ramirez, Maria Rivera, Heriberto Rivera, and Ricardo Rivera. Born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico she was the daughter of the late Ismael Sanchez and the late Victoria LeClerc.

Margarita is survived by her sisters Merida Ortiz, Virginia Cruz, Ana Sanchez, Luz M Sanchez, and Carmen Sanchez; her brothers Ismael Sanchez and Jaime Chaparro; her grandchildren Daniel Cruz, Keishla Cruz, Jasmine Ramirez, Ricardo Jaden Rivera Jr., Elliana Marie Rivera, Derek Sebastian Fontanez Rivera, Dylan Alexander Fontanez Rivera, Mack Heriberto Rivera, and Miles Benington Rivera; her great-grandchildren Megan A. Cruz Ruiz, and Jerameel G. Melendez Ramirez.

Visitation will be held Friday from 9:00am to 11:00 AM meeting directly at Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull.
