Maria (Mary) Maiorano Kratky, age 86, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late John S. Kratky Sr., passed away Monday, March 24, 2008, at the Jewish Home for the Elderly. Mary was born in Boston and had lived most of her life in Bridgeport. A loving and devoted mother, she is survived by two daughters, Janice Kratky of Lowell, MA and Marie Kenealy and her husband William of Milford, three sons, John S. Kratky Jr. and his wife Maryann of Inverness, FL, Dennis J. Kratky of Bridgeport and Donald P. Kratky of Stratford, a sister, Anna Baldwin and her husband Howard of TN, seven grandchildren, John S. Kratky III, Jennifer Koenig, Melissa Kratky, Suzanne Carris, Rachael Unger, Vicki Smith and Mark Kenealy, five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four sisters and a brother, Frances Black, Judith Burns, Maggie Maiorano, Louise Santamauro and Santo Maroiano. Funeral services will be held Friday, at 9:15 am. from the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull and at 10:00 am. in St. Stephen Church, Trumbull, with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private in the State Veteran's Cemetery, Middletown. Friends may call Thursday, 5 – 8 pm.
