Mariano Acevedo, age 91, beloved husband of the late Andrea Teron Acevedo, of Bridgeport, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2020 in his home. Mariano was born in Puerto Rico and retired from Reliable Steel Drum. He is survived by two sons, Mariano Acevedo Jr and Arnaldo Acevedo, four daughters, Evelyn Laluz, Mildred Ocasio, Miriam Pagan and Aida Castillo, a sister, Maria Gonzalez, twenty grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Mariano was predeceased by a son, Hector Acevedo. Friends may call Thursday morning from 9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., with a Mass of Christian Burial to be held that afternoon at 3:00 p.m. in St. Mary Church, Pembroke St., Bridgeport. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford.
