Marie Rose Oleynick Konecny, age 80, beloved wife of the late Michael T. Konecny Sr., of Trumbull, passed away Friday, May 14, 2010. Mrs. Konecny was born in Bridgeport and has lived in Trumbull many years. She had worked for Sikorsky Aircraft and owned the former M & M Diner in Bridgeport. Survivors include her beloved children, son, Michael T. Konecny Jr. and wife Mary of Trumbull, daughters, JoAnn and husband Ralph Tremaglio M.D. of Southbury, Linda Dragunoff and husband Howard of Woodbridge and Sandra Casey and husband Thomas of Shelton, a brother, John Oleynick of Bridgeport, nine grandchildren, Daniel, Joseph and Cristina Tremaglio, Steven and Jacquelen Konecny, Nathaniel and Lindsay Dragunoff, Michael and Kristin Casey; also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00am, meeting directly in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main Street, Trumbull, with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
