Marilyn Beers Gillette, age 73 of Seymour died unexpectedly Thursday May 26, 2011 at St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport. Born in Bridgeport, she was the beloved daughter of late Chester and Helen Michaels Beers. She was a resident of Bridgeport most of her life and lived with her daughter in Seymour for the past seven years. Mrs. Gillette was a retired executive secretary. Survivors include her loving children, three sons, Kevin Papcun and Angela Rivera, Glenn Papcun and Karen, Michael Papcun and Maureen, her daughter, Karen Gillette Nickerson and Rodney, eleven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Robert Beers. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at a time to be announced in the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull. Interment will follow in Lawncroft Cemetery, Fairfield. Friends may call Tuesday 4-8pm with a family prayer offered at 6pm in the funeral home.
