Marilyn Bedford Uzarski of Stratford entered into eternal rest on October 2, 2022.  Born and raised in Bridgeport, she was the daughter of the late Christine & Elmer E. Bedford.  She was a Stratford resident for 51 years.  Marilyn was the widow of Stanley J. Uzarski.  She was employed by the Unilever Corporation (Trumbull) as an Administrative Assistant for 20 years before retiring.   She was a member of St. Mark's Church, belonging to the Ladies' Guild.  Following her retirement, she was a volunteer for the Red Cross of Stratford & St. Vincent's Medical Center. Marilyn was a former EMT of Stratford. She was employed part-time at the St. Mark's Rectory Office for 11 years. She is survived by her son; David J. Uzarski and his wife, Margey, her daughter; Carolyn Uzarski; her loving grandchildren, Danny Singer, twins Zoe & Graig Uzarski.  Her brother-in-law, Tom Uzarski and his wife, (Rose). Her nieces Helen Redfield and her husband (Lee), Pamela Kinner and her husband, (Larry), Diane Sherwinsky, Diane's son (Brad),  Kathleen Casertano and her husband (Jon), her nephew Mark Sherwinsky and his wife (Susan), and Tom Uzarski, Jr. and his wife (Kim). She was predeceased by her brother, E. E. Bedford, Jr. of Fairfield and her sister, Vivien Sullivan of Bridgeport. Friends may call Thursday from: 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull. Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial on Friday. October 7th at 11:00 AM by meeting directly at St. Mark's Church, 500 Wigwam Lane, Stratford.
