Marion S. Borgman, beloved wife of the late Rune E. Borgman and mother of Tom, Cathleen and Dana Borgman, passed away peacefully on September 8th. While in Canada, Marion worked for the U.S. Consulate where she was able to utilize her knowledge of several languages and assisted numerous fascinating people. Upon moving to Bridgeport, CT, she joined Bridgeport Machines where she met her future husband, Rune, and acquired yet another language – Swedish. They raised their family in Trumbull and spent their retirement years in South Harwich, MA; returning to Trumbull recently. Marion's activities over the years were numerous and varied ranging from serving on the Tashua Knolls planning committee to most recently her work with the WASA Lodge and knitting with her friends in preparation for the summer fair at Holy Redeemer Church in Chatham, MA. In addition to her immediate family, Mrs. Borgman leaves her beloved sisters and brother, Vera, Gerry, and Bill, daughters-in-law Carolyn Borgman, Cindy Borgman, grandchildren Emily, Daniel and Erin Borgman of Connecticut and Katie Borgman of Virginia, as well many cousins, nieces and nephews and dear friends. Her intellect, humor, faith, love of family and generosity to the community are her legacy and she will be deeply missed.
