Marion McLaughlin Dawson, age 94 of Fairfield died Wednesday, February 3, 2010 in her home. She was the beloved wife of the late Sydney T. Dawson Jr., Attorney. Born July 5, 1915 in Newark, New Jersey she was the daughter of the late James Joseph and Agnes Edith Haig McLaughlin. Mrs. Dawson had been a longstanding member of the Greenfield Hill Garden Club and the Fairfield Historical Society. Survivors include her daughter, Deborah A. Dawson of Fairfield, sisters Doris Glenn of Delaware and Rita Conway of Massachusetts and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her sister Claire Bettcher. Funeral services will be private at the convenience of her family. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Norwich. Arrangements by the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull.
