Marion Vonick Federowicz, age 91 of Trumbull, beloved wife of the late Joseph J. Federowicz passed away Sunday, December 23, 2012 in St. Joseph's Manor. Marion was born in Bridgeport, daughter of the late Michael and Agnes Carroll Vonick. She was a lifelong resident of Bridgeport, before moving to Trumbull to live with her daughter twenty years ago. Marion and her late husband Joseph enjoyed their Saturday night dancing, and were original members of St. Andrew Parish. Survivors include her devoted daughter, Jo Anne Virag and husband John of Trumbull, two cherished grandchildren Jesse Lombard and wife Lynn and Jael Virag and fiancé Dan Salafia, two great grandchildren Clio and Felicia Lombard, a brother Leroy Vonick and wife Mary of Stratford, a brother-in-law Edward Fedorowicz and wife Louise of Milford, and several nieces and nephews. Marion was predeceased by her sister Shirley Rich. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Lauren, Tina, Cathy, Holly, Bertha, and all the men and women of the 5th floor at St. Joseph's Manor, also the loving home care given by Marie Hall prior to Marion going to the Manor. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:30a.m., from the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull and at 11:00a.m., in St. Andrew Church, Bridgeport, with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call Wednesday morning from 9:30 to 10:30a.m., in the funeral home.
