Marjorie Ann (Daggett) Jeffery, age 78 of Trumbull, died Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at Bridgeport Hospital, surrounded by her family, from complications due to her recent battle with cancer. Marjorie was born in Conneaut, Ohio to the late Theodore and Gladys Daggett. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Donald; daughters Jane, Holly and Megan of California, Vermont and Massachusetts, respectively; son, Scott, and his wife, Karin, of Trumbull; son, Craig, and his wife, Suzanne, of Peachtree City, GA; sister, Margaret Weidler; brother, Donald Daggett; fourteen grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was a certified lay speaker in the United Methodist Church, and preached at local Methodist churches over the years, utilizing her skills as an avid and practiced Biblical story-teller. Marjorie also had a penchant and talent for craft-making and created many beautiful banners and unique hand-crafted cards for her church, friends, and family. She was a lifetime learner, particularly enjoying the study of languages and teaching others.
