Martha L. Rashan Hencsei, age 87 a longtime Bridgeport resident died Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at Lord Chamberlain Health Care Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Stephen F. Hencsei. Born in Fairfield she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Mary Horvath Rashan. Mrs. Hencsei was a homemaker and loved bingo at St. Andrew Church. Survivors include her loving children, Richard Hencsei of Bridgeport, Karen Mavricz and her husband James of Langhorne, PA, Mariann Holmes and her husband Robert of Southbury, Stephen Hencsei and his wife Maureen of Bridgeport, sister Olga Lesko, brother Edward Rashan and his wife Mary Jane, five grandchildren, Brian, Brent, Ryan, Kayla, and Kristen, four great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:00am in the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
