Mary F. Brown, age 89, passed away on May 1, 2022.  Mary was born, raised, and lived 87 of her years, in Bridgeport, CT. Mary is survived by her daughters, Teri Brown and Martha Bilski, adored grandchildren Jack and Tess Bilski, nephews Tom, Bob and Michael Kelly and their families, many wonderful cousins, and dear long term friends who were family to her. She was predeceased by her parents, George and Frances Cuneo Geaney, her husband of over 60 years, Bob "Dink" Brown, her daughter Julie Brown, her brother in law George Brown, and sister and brother in law, Eileen and Bob Kelly. A graduate of the College of New Rochelle, Mary excelled at and was passionate about her nearly 40 year career as a math teacher at Bridgeport's Central High School, her own alma mater. She was active in church and community, especially in her role as a Lifetime Board Director at the Kennedy Center. As a relative, friend, teacher, and advocate, Mary strived to support and nourish that special something she found in everyone she encountered. The family thanks the dedicated professionals in Bridgeport Hospital's ER and ICU for the compassionate care she received during her short final illness.  Funeral services will be held, Friday, May 20, 2022, at 11:00a.m., meeting directly at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 149 South Pine Creek Road., Fairfield, with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private. Friends may call Thursday, May 19th, from 4-8p.m., at the Redgate - Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull.
