Mary McGuire Curry, age 90, wife of the late William J. Curry, Jr., died Thursday January 24, 2008 at her home in Fairfield. She was born in New Haven on June 21, 1917, the daughter of the late Anna Brinley and William T. McGuire. She was educated at the Metropolitan Hospital School of Nursing and Teachers' College, Columbia University in New York. Prior to raising her family she was a Registered Nurse at Metropolitan and Bellevue Hospitals in New York and served as an instructor of clinical nursing at her alma mater. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by her sisters Ellen M. McGuire, Elizabeth M. Higgins, Anne (Nancy) M. Garneau, and her brother Charles W. McGuire. She is survived by: her sister-in-law Vivian Weed McGuire of Holly Hill, FL; seven daughters: Michelle C. (Thomas E., Jr.) Minogue, Anne C. (Oliver P., Jr.) MacKinnon, Eileen C. (Lawrence J.) Lynch, and Elizabeth C. (Steven J.) O'Connell, all of Fairfield; Ellen C. (Dr. William A.) Mehan of Manchester, NH; Jeanne C. (Michael K.) Mooney of Wellesley, MA; Clare C. (Francis X., Jr.) Foley of Latham, NY; and four sons: William J. (Terry Stewart) Curry of Methuen, MA; John T. (Eileen O'Neill) Curry of Wilton; Thomas J. Curry of Boston, MA and Arlington, VA; and Peter M. (Patricia Daly) Curry of Trumbull. She is also survived by 42 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and 11 nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00am directly in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 149 South Pine Creek Road, Fairfield with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private in St. John's Cemetery, Darien. Friends may call on Sunday January 27, 2008 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull.
