Mary Sansone Flynn, age 85 formerly of Trumbull and Oronoque Village Stratford died Monday, June 16, 2014 in Mansfield Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation, Storrs. She was the beloved wife of the late William F.X. Flynn Sr. Born in Bridgeport she was the daughter of the late Victor and Liberty Pavone Sansone. She is survived by her twelve children, Patrick (Barbara) Flynn, Claire (Randy) McIntyre, Kathleen Flynn, Roberta (Shawn) Murphy, Linda (Ed) Schernau, Peggy (Jeff) Brown, William (Vicky) Flynn Jr., Robert Flynn, Marilib (Randy) Swan, Amy Flynn, Michael (Heather) Flynn, and Timothy (Becky) Flynn, 28 grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. Mary's life was her family. Known for her beautiful smile and simple wisdom, the way she lived her life was her greatest gift to her family and friends.  Her kitchen was always filled with food, love, laughter and a perpetual pot of coffee. There was always room at the table for one more person.  Mary spent several years after her children were grown working in Customer Service at American Skandia in Shelton, CT. While she enjoyed her time at Skandia and was proud of her job, her true calling was as a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all. Mary's last days were spent in the loving care of the people at Mansfield Center, where she captured their hearts with her wonderful spirit.  Her family wishes to thank her friends at Mansfield Center for their wonderful care .Mary left a legacy of love, compassion and strong commitment to family, she will be deeply missed.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Alzheimer's Association www.alz.org.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 12noon in St. Mark's Church, 500 Wigwam Lane, Stratford.
