Mary Haggerty Giles, age 81, of Trumbull, died Monday, October 27, 2008, in her home. Born July 10, 1927 in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Edward Joseph and Kathleen Hughes Haggerty. Mary lived in Utica, NY and Newtown, returning to Trumbull twenty nine years ago. She was a graduate of Lauralton Hall, attended Marymount College, Salina, KS and graduated from New York School of Medical Technology. A wonderful wife and mother, she is survived by her children, Edward Joseph Giles of Hermann, MO, Kathleen Hughes Giles of Watertown and John Andrew Giles of Port Jervis, NY. and eleven grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, at 9:15 a.m. from the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull and at 10:00 a.m. in Christ the King Church, Trumbull with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford.
