Obituary

Mary Lynn Rosso, of Shelton passed into eternal life on Saturday May 28th after a brief battle with ovarian cancer. She was 61. Lynn was predeceased by her loving husband Michael V. Rosso and her father Howard Watson. Surviving are her daughters Jennifer Rosso of Bridgeport, Michelle Blum and her husband T. Adam Blum of New Jersey, her two grandchildren Zoe Alexis and Owen Michael, her mother Pauline Watson of Nebraska, a sister Cathy Chapman of Maryland, a brother James Watson of Mississippi and several nieces and nephews. Also surviving is her dear friend Bill Mackey. Born on April 29, 1950 in Red Cloud NE, Lynn met her husband Mike during college in Nebraska. They married 40 years ago on May 28th 1971 and started their married life in CT. Lynn, who enjoyed traveling, shared several wonderful vacations over the years with her family and friends. Recently retired, Lynn was looking forward to the coming years spent golfing, vacationing and spending time with family. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:00am, meeting directly in St. Lawrence Church, 505 Shelton Avenue, Huntington, with a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, St. Monica's Mausoleum, Trumbull. Friends may call Tuesday from 4 to 8pm, in the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull.
