Michael G. Meade, Sr., age 71 of Stratford, died Wednesday, January 15, 2025 in his home. He was the beloved husband of Paulette Robichaud Meade. Born in Bridgeport, he was the son of the late Raymond J. and Shirley Lockhart Meade. Michael received his Bachelor's degree from Sacred Heart University. He was a retired Captain of the Bridgeport Fire Department after 30 years of service and served as the director of the Connecticut Children's Burn Camp. Mike especially loved antique cars, camping, and hunting.  He is survived by his daughter, Sarah Meade, and her husband, Derek Laverriere; son, Michael Meade, Jr.; grandchildren Charlotte, Zoë and Finn; brothers Raymond and Brian. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his sister, Cathie Meade-Clark. Friends may greet the family Saturday, January 25th, from 10 to 12 noon in the Redgate Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull. A prayer service will begin at 11:30 AM.
