Michael Paul Sikora of Williston, Vermont (formerly Trumbull and Milford) 76, passed away peacefully at home on Dec. 17, 2009. He was the son of Michael and Mary Sikora of Bridgeport, Conn. Mike graduated from Fairfield Preparatory School and The University of Connecticut. He served in the United States Marine Corps as a First Lieutenant. Mike played football through high school, college and the Marine Corp. Mike worked for The Southern CT Gas Company and Washington Concrete in Southington. He loved the New York Yankees and the New York Giants. He is survived by his loving wife Ann (Kanuch) of 53 years and his five children: Michael Jr. (and Carol) of Norwalk, Scott (and Veronica) of Trumbull, Gregory (and Lisa) of Boston, MA, Lee Ann (and Joe) of Spokane, WA and Julie (and Gary) of Essex,VT. He was devoted to his eleven grandchildren: Nicole and Michael Sikora, Jessie and Steven Sikora, Emma and Tess Sikora, Lucas and Maya Caruso, Matthew, Nolan and Christopher Davis. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Frances Kanuch, niece JoeAnna Kanuch and nephew Tim Kanuch. His family was the love and heart of his life and they always managed to make him happy. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in Vermont last Wednesday.   Friends may greet his family on Tuesday December 29, 2009 from 4:00pm – 7:00pm in the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull.
