Michael G. Slosser, age 89 of Monroe, beloved husband of the late Kathleen Kiernan Slosser, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2022, in Connecticut Hospice, Branford. Michael was born in Bridgeport, son of the late Michael and Marion Potanovich Slosser, and was a resident of Bridgeport and Milford prior to moving to Monroe in 1967. Michael was a former Vice-President of Mechanics & Farmers Savings Bank, having retired in 1984 after 30 years of service. He was an Army Veteran having served during the Korean Conflict and a member of the American Legion. Michael was also a former member of the CT Auxiliary State Police; and a Past President of the Bridgeport Consumer Credit Association, Monroe Chamber of Commerce, and the Trumbull Exchange Club organizations. He was a former Real Estate agent and a member of the Shelton Builders Association. Survivors include, two devoted sons and daughter-in-law, James M. Slosser of Monroe, and Thomas J. Slosser and wife Diane of Stratford, two cherished grandsons Daniel T. Slosser and Ryan M. Slosser of Stratford, two nephews David and Kevin Stanislawski. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:00a.m., meeting directly in St. Stephen Church, 6948 Main Street, Trumbull, with a Mass of Christian Burial.
