Michelle Jolls, age 46, died Sunday, September 26, 2010 in Martinsville, Virginia.  Michelle was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut and had been residing in Martinsville, Virginia with her sister Peggy for many years. Michelle attended the Anna Baum Skane School and The Kennedy Center.  She was an active athlete in the Special Olympics for many years in which she won many well deserved medals.  Michelle has touched many lives and loved everyone she came in contact with.  She never judged anyone, therefore love was easy for her to give.  Many people have wonderful memories of Michelle which will be shared for many years to come.  Her smile will remain in everyone's heart. Michelle will be sadly missed.  We love you Michelle. Michelle was predeceased by her parents, Madeline R. Jolls and Arthur B. Jolls.  Survivors include five brothers. Michael Jolls of Stratford, William Hartington of Virginia, John Hartington of Stratford, Stephen Hartington of South Carolina and one predeceased brother, Ronald Hartington and his wife Beverly of Pennsylvania., six sisters, Gail Blackwell and her husband John of Trumbull, Carole Dagenais of Bridgeport, Joan McAloon and her husband Tommy of Rhode Island, Pat Runkle and her husband Ron of Nevada, Betty Hajducki of Bridgeport and Peggy Ausburne of Virginia. Michelle has many nieces, nephews, great- nieces, great- nephews and friends who love her dearly. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:00am in the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull, and at 11:00am in St. Theresa Church, with a Mass Christian Burial. Interment will be private. Friends may call Friday from 4pm to 8pm.
