Obituary

Milton L. Kellogg age 65 of Oxford, passed away Wednesday May 16, 2012 in Griffin Hospital due to complications with cancer.   He was the beloved husband of Debbie Zieckas Kellogg and beloved son of Marie Curtiss Kellogg and the late Charles E. Kellogg.   Born in Bridgeport he was a resident of Monroe before moving to Oxford. Milton (Milt) was a very proud Veteran of the United States Air Force where he served in Vietnam.   He was also a proud member of the American Legion.  He graduated from Norwalk Technical Institute with a degree in engineering and followed a career in Mechanical Engineering. His hobbies included antique cars, loved to go to airshows and could always be found working around his house.   He could always be counted on by family and friends to give a helping hand at any time and was one of the most kind and thoughtful people one could ever meet.   He will be sorely missed by everyone that knew him. In addition to his wife and mother he is survived by three brothers.   Charles Kellogg and his wife Ruth of West Hatfield, Ma., Donald Kellogg and his wife Sharon of Watkins Glen, NY and Richard Kellogg and his wife Mary Lou Kellogg of Monroe, Ct. in addition to many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 20, 2012 at 12 noon in Monroe Congregational Church, 34 Church Street, Monroe.   Interment with full military honors will follow in Cutlers Farm Cemetery, Monroe.   Friends may call Saturday 1-5pm in the Redgate- Hennessy Funeral Home, corner of Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull.
