Muriel Kropitis Mickett, age 78 a lifelong Fairfield resident passed away peacefully with her loving daughter Patricia Gearing and son-in-law Kenneth Gearing by her side on Good Friday, April 22, 2011 at St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport. She was a dedicated and loving mother. She will be truly missed but forever remembered in our hearts. May she rest in eternal peace. Muriel had a great love of reading, flowers, and her cat Sugar. Her family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at St. Vincent's for their excellent care and compassion. Muriel is also survived by a wonderful friend Marina T. Silvestros. A Memorial Mass to celebrate her life will be held at a later date. Burial will be private. Those who so desire may make a contribution in her memory to Rescue Ink or the North Shore Animal League.
