Nancy L. Bayne Meeker, beloved wife of late Herbert Meeker, died Tuesday, March 6,2006 in St. Vincent's Medical Center. She was born on April 21, 1931 in Bristol, daughter of the late Walter and Mary Curran Bayne. Mrs. Meeker had been a Trumbull resident for more than 40 years, and formerly worked at Pantry Pride and retired from Vitramon in 1996. In between she raised five children with her husband and was involved in scouting and sports, and loved UCONN Women's Basketball. Survivors include her children and their spouse, Raymond and Sue Meeker, Ricky and Nora Meeker, Ron and Tammie Meeker, Cheryl and Jim Gustaveson, and Randy and Joann Meeker, her grandchildren, Wesley Meeker, Jason Haines, Jess and Marisa, Jacklyn Meeker, Ashley Meeker, Melissa and Tuan Nguyen, Alexandra Meeker, Pauline Meeker, Gretchen and Brian Mager, Joseph Meeker, Randy Meeker, Jr., James Gustaveson and friend Melanie Wargo, Heather Gustaveson and Kyle Gustaveson, a great grandchild Aden Nguyen, her step mother Lillian Bayne, three sisters, Agnes Spigarolo, Beverly Kellum and Grace Kelley, two brothers, Leigh Bayne and Bob Bayne, Cousins Robert Ford and Jesse Goldbaum. She was predeceased by a brother Gerald Bayne, a sister and brother-in-law Jeanne and Michael Curti. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 9:00 am directly in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main Street, Trumbull. Interment will follow in Mountain Grove of Easton Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 3pm to 7pm in the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull.
