Obituary

Nicholas Adams Jr., age 72 of Naples, Florida and formerly of Bridgeport died Thursday, July 2, 2009 at St. Vincent's Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport he lived there most of his life before moving to Florida. Mr. Adams was a U.S. Army Veteran, was employed for many years by Connecticut Distributors Inc., and for the past 17 years was a caring and thoughtful bus driver of special needs children for Collier County in Naples. He was an athlete and sports fan especially of the Green Bay Packers and St. Louis Cardinals, baseball card expert, and flea market extraordinaire. Survivors include his devoted wife, Aleta C. Wood Adams , his beloved dog, April AKA Velcro, his loving children, daughters, Brenda Cousins, Leslie Vaquero and her husband Ed, all of Bridgeport, Wendy Terenzio and her partner Laura Ambrogio of Milford, sons, Michael Terenzio and his partner Laura Bria and Peter Terenzio and his wife, Tricia, all of Stamford, sisters, Geraldine Jurman and Patricia Caciopoli and her husband Lou, 12 grandchildren, Kristy, Nichelle, Alyssa, Amanda, David, Danielle, Michelle, Shelby, Jesse, Anthony, Jessalyn, and Aidan, 2 great grandchildren, Elias and Justice, a special close member of the family, Lisa Landone, and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Wednesday, July 8, from 4:00 – 8:00pm in the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull with a prayer service beginning at 7:00pm.
