Nina "Libby" Kearney Novelli, age 95 of Cheshire and formerly Trumbull passed away, Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at Yale New Haven Hospital. She was the wife of the late James Novelli. Born in Stratford, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Carol Kearney. Mrs. Novelli started her career with the F.B.I. during World War II in Washington, D.C. and later returned to Connecticut where she was a clerk of the Federal Court for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and is survived by her devoted daughter, Peggy Tessler and her husband, Jon of Cheshire, loving granddaughter, Lindsay Tessler, and her beloved nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by her sister Alma Battistelli and Ruth Glass and brother Leslie Kearney. Funeral services were private.
