Nora McQuilkin, age 82, of Bridgeport, passed away Monday, March 1, 2010, at St. Vincent's Medical Center. Nora was born in Dumbarton, Scotland, daughter of the late William and Margaret Connolly McQuilkin. She retired from the Hartford National Bank's check processing department and was a member of the bank's 25 year club. Survivors include her beloved sister, Veronica McNeill of Monroe, nephew and Godson, Joseph D. O'Neill and niece Patricia S. O'Neill; also several additional nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four sisters, her twin Kathleen McQuilkin, Eileen Murphy, Mary Teresa Synnuck and Margaret Rose McQuilkin and a brother William McQuilkin. Funeral services will be held Friday at 9:15am, from the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull and at 10:00am, in St. Patrick Church (lower church), Bridgeport, with a Mass of Christian Burial.
