The family of Norreen Earle Morrell MSN CNS, are deeply saddened to announce her passing on February 11, 2026. Born on June 12, 1936, in Bridgeport, Connecticut, Norreen was a graduate of Lauralton Hall, St. Vincents School of Nursing, Western Connecticut State College, and Columbia University. She was a long-time resident of Trumbull and active in Christ the King Church while raising her family. Norreen is predeceased by the love of her life James W. Morrell Jr, sister Ann Earle, brothers Francis and Jack Earle and children Seamus Morrell and Elizabeth Fico. Norreen is survived by sister Kathleen Pendagast, children Timothy Morrell and Nora Kwochka, son in laws Kenneth Kwochka, Ray Fico and daughter in law Nancy Morrell, many loving nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Norreen took pride in her profession as a nurse and then as an educator teaching nursing. She was a wonderful mother and a true and loyal friend. Norreen was strong in her catholic faith. Her rosary beads were never far from her, and she was often seen praying for her family and the friends she cherished since kindergarten. Growing up in Bridgeport and going to Seaside Park with family started the long love of the beach and salt water that has provided her family with the best of memories. Her love, generosity and laughter will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 9:45a.m., from the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and 4 Gorham Place, Trumbull, and at 10:30a.m., in Christ the King Church, 4700 Madison Avenue, Trumbull, with a Mass of Christian Burial.
