Olga Emily Abrams Shackett, age 93, of Stratford died Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at Bridgeport Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Edmund W. Shackett. Born in Bridgeport, Mrs. Shackett was employed by the Appeals Division for the State of Connecticut and had previously worked for Murray Space Shoes. She is survived by her loving daughter, Geraldine Cimelus, of Stratford, grandson, Christopher Cimelus, granddaughter Megan Matto and her husband, Patrick and great granddaughter, Riley Matto. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by her son-in-law, George Cimelus. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 9, 2012 at 9:15am from the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull and at 10:00am in St. Augustine Cathedral, Bridgeport with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may greet her family Thursday morning after 8:30am at the funeral home.
