Omina Bonhomme, 64, of Connecticut, passed peacefully on Sunday, August 24, 2025

She was born on Sunday, June 4, 1961, in Jacmel, Haiti. In September of 1997, she immigrated to the United States and settled in Connecticut, where she built a loving home and life with her family.

In 1985, Omina married her devoted husband, Chalon Bonhomme, in Saint Martinique. Together they shared forty years of marriage rooted in love and faith. Omina was a proud and nurturing mother to her children: Geordany, Chaluna, Rodny, Rodly, and Vladimy Bonhomme.

A devoted believer in Christ, Omina lived her life guided by her faith and commitment to God. She was a loving wife, a dedicated mother, and a woman whose kindness and strength touched all who knew her.

She leaves behind her husband, children, and a wide circle of family and friends who will continue to cherish her memory.

Her life was a testimony of faith, love, and resilience. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered.

Funeral Services will be held, Saturday, September 6, 2025,  8:00a.m. to 10:30a.m., in the Evangelical Baptist Church, 926 State St, Bridgeport, CT 06605. Burial will follow in Lawncroft Cemetery, Fairfield
