Obituary

Orville Clarke (aka Chris) was born on February 8th, 1969 to Odette DaCosta (aka Clarke) and Aston Clarke in St. Andrews, Jamaica, West Indies.

Orville went on to pursued a trade and became a welder. He became a mastered welder and truly enjoyed all aspect of the job. He worked for various company but ended his career with Emtec Metal in 2021 after 10 years of glorious service.

In 2000, Orville met his wife Itzel Lasprilla-Clarke (aka Vee) and they married in 2002 in Bronx, NY. Orville and Itzel went on to have two children, Angelicque and Aiden.

Orville was predeceased by his father Aston. He is survived by his wife Itzel, his children Sushana, Janoy, Angelicque and Aiden, his mother Odette and his siblings Donovan, Everald, Janice, Donna, Willard, Monica, Mickey, Tiffany, Melva and Janet as well four grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Orville, has been taken from us far too soon. He was a loving, caring and completely devoted person to his family and friends. His contagious smile and goofy sense of humor would light up any room he was in and make even the worst day seem a bit brighter. A wonderful husband and father, he could be relied on to always come through for me and our family. It didn't matter what was going on he was a source of support and strength. In every sense of the word, he was my partner. He taught us how important hard work and dedication are but never failed to put family first and go to any length for our happines.

I feel fortunate to have spent 23 years knowing Orville and 21 years of marriage with him. We enjoyed some absolutely fantastic times and made memories I won't ever forget. I can think of our early days of dating and it brings a smile to my face.

I will miss Orville more than I could ever hope to express here. But I know he wouldn't want me to be sad and to carry on with my life.  He would want us all to celebrate the wonderful man he was and how much joy he brought to our lives and that is what I intend to do.

Orville will be with us always and hold a place in our hearts that can never be taken. The memories we have of him will be with us forever.

Rest in peace, dear husband. You will be deeply missed.
