Patricia Whyland Cole, age 56, of Shelton passed away Friday, August 9, 2013 at Bridgeport Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas R. Cole. Born in Bridgeport, Patricia was the daughter of the late Robert and Loretta Elliott Whyland. She was a certified occupational therapy assistant at the Jewish Home for the Elderly. She will be remembered for her loving smile, positive outlook and love for life. She was a strong person who loved music and cared for others. Patricia adored her loving daughter, Erin K. Cole Hyatt and her husband Michael, brother Robert A. Whyland Jr. and wife Gloria, brothers-in-law Christopher Cole and wife Carol, David Cole, sister-in-law Susan Cole, and nephew and nieces Michael, Jenna, and Rebecca. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:30am meeting directly in St. Joseph Church, 50 Fairmont Place, Shelton with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call Monday at 4-8pm in the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull.
