Patricia Ann Dooley age 87 from Shelton Connecticut, passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2024, due to complications of heart failure. Her final moments were spent peacefully in her nursing home in Commack New York, surrounded by her loving sons.  Patricia was born in Bridgeport and is the daughter of the late Nora and Patrick Curren.  She lived most of her life in Shelton with her family.

Patricia was a kind and loving soul. Her smile, laugh, and glow always brightened a room and brought happiness to those around her. Patricia will be dearly missed by all who knew her. The Dooley family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life not the sadness of her passing. Patricia is survived by her two sons Patrick J. Dooley and husband Scott Hignett, of Brightwaters NY, and Michael J. Dooley and wife Jane of Wilton, two grandchildren Devon and Stacia Dooley and several nieces. She is predeceased by her Husband John J. Dooley, sister Margret Hennessy, and brother John Curran.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Patricia's honor at St. Lawrence Church in Shelton on Saturday 11/2 at 10:30 am.  A private ceremony will follow at the Mountain Grove Cemetery in Bridgeport.  In lieu of flowers, place make a contribution in her memory to the Cancer Commons, 2625 Middlefield Road Suite 104 Palo Alto, CA  94306, or cancercommons.org
