Patricia Ann (Clifford) Howard, 89 of Madison formerly of Fairfield passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018. She was the beloved wife for 44 years of the late David R. Howard who predeceased her on October 13, 1998. Born in Worcester, Massachusetts on January 6, 1929 to Helen (Kelleher) and Frederick C. Clifford, Pat was a 1946 graduate of South High in Worcester, Mass. She was an alumni of Lasell Jr. College in Newton, Mass. and of the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa. Survivors include her children; son, Mark N. Howard of Toluca Lake, CA and daughters, Mary Scott Wulff of Madison, CT , Suzanne R. Howard of Chester, CT, grandchildren, David Wulff, Kaelen Howard, Samuel and Libby Spitzschuh. Pat is also survived by sisters, Kate Bagnall of Fort Wayne, MO and Jane Stuart of Memphis, TN as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by her brother, Frederick C. Clifford. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:00a.m., meeting directly in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 1719 Boston Post Road, Fairfield with a Mass of Christian Burial.
