Paul S. Seaman, husband of the late Evelyn Carris Seaman, passed away on November 5, 2009 at the Jewish Home for the Elderly in Fairfield. Paul was born in Bridgeport on November 2, 1916 to the late John and Anna Remak Semon and was a long time Stratford resident before moving to Trumbull four years ago. He was employed for many years by Singer Sewing Machine and retired from Charter Arms Corp. He was a former member of the Baldwin Center and was active in their pinochle group. He was a life long sports fan and enjoyed watching the New York Mets and Giants and the UCONN men and women basketball teams. He was the beloved father of Deborah Griswold and her husband Gary of Trumbull, and Karen Guggenheim and her husband David of Milford. He was the devoted grandfather of Thomas P. Griswold and his wife Lisa of Saugus, California and Wendy Conway and her husband Mark of Amherst, New Hampshire and the beloved great grandfather of Madelyn and Abaigael Conway of New Hampshire and Jarod P. and Ethan Griswold of California, his brother William and his wife Antoinette of West Warwick, RI, his sister in law Josephine Semon of Trumbull and many nieces and nephews also survive him. His sisters Ann O'Brien, Susan Semon and Dorothy Murphy and his brothers John, Stephan, Michael and Andrew predeceased him. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00am in the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull. Interment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may greet his family Saturday morning from 10:15am – 11:00am in the funeral home.
