Peter Joseph Sagliano,93, passed away peacefully in his home of 50 years surrounded by his loving wife, Shirley and his family on August 12,2025.

Pete was born on February 5, 1932, in Bridgeport, CT.  He was the son of the late Giuseppina Piccirillo Sagliano and Generoso Sagliano.  He was predeceased by six siblings. Pete was a devoted husband to his wife, Shirley, sharing almost 70 loving years of marriage and a loving father to his two daughters Della {Rocco} D'Arcangelo of Brookfield and Sharon {Mark} Boucher of Shelton.  He also had three grandsons he cherished Luigi {Kylie} D'Arcangelo of Brookfield, Kevin Boucher of Shelton and Kyle Boucher of Trumbull.  He also leaves behind two great grandchildren Rocco and Kenley D'Arcangelo of Brookfield and last but not least his grand dog Chloe. He will be deeply missed by all.

Peter served in the United States Army from November 1952 to1954, with an honorable discharge.  He worked at Sikorsky Aircraft for almost 40 years as a Quality Control Inspector in Overhaul & Repair and had Presidential clearance.  Peter retired in 1993.

In Pete's younger years he played baseball, was on bowling leagues, and had Friday night poker games and played pool with his buddies.  Later in life he enjoyed being at home, whether it be working in the yard, on his car, painting around the house and always having a task for the day.

Pete was a family man and loved to spend time with whenever he could.  He enjoyed going to his grandson's baseball and football games.

The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Ketechia Jack-Robinson for all her love and care she gave to Pete.  She was not only his care giver and friend but also a cherished member of our family.  Also, a thank you to the Hospice nurses of Constellation for all their love, care and support given to Pete and his family.

Services were private with immediate family by graveside with Full Military Honors at Gate of Heaven in Trumbull, CT.
