Randy Gene Daskam, 69 of Milford passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on April 23, 2023 at Yale New Haven Hospital.  Born in Bridgeport on September 29, 1953 to Barbara Lumley and Irving Daskam.  Randy enjoyed his youth at the North End Boys Club where he was involved with many sports activities.  He retired from Sikorsky Aircraft after a long career where he was elected as a Union Business Agent for Teamsters Local 1150.  He enjoyed many trips to Las Vegas and was an avid New York Yankees fan. He took such pride in the fact that he was the water boy for the Bridgeport Jets Football team in his teenage years & never missed a game.  He also loved working with his father cutting down trees at his family business AAA Tree Service in Westport. Predeceased by his mother Barbara Lumley Pagerino and brother Gregg Daskam. Survivors include his father Irving Daskam, sisters Donna Nolan, Shirley Kealey (Bob), Lee Ann Mailloux (Marc), Frances Steller, Dori Cohen & brother Jon Daskam, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews & friends. Graveside services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. directly at Oak Lawn Cemetery, 1530 Bronson Road Fairfield.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family in care of Redgate - Hennessy Funeral Home.
