Raymond J. DeNomme, age 85 of Trumbull, beloved husband of Ruth Zak DeNomme, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2016 in St. Vincent's Medical Center. Raymond was born in Bridgeport on May 15, 1930, son of the late George Arcade and Anna Thibault DeNomme, and was a Trumbull resident for the past 55 years. He attended both the University of Connecticut and the University of Bridgeport.  Raymond was employed thirty-five years by United Technologies Corporation, first with Sikorsky Aircraft and then with Norden Systems, and was a member of the Norden's Retirees Club. He was an avid New York Yankee and UConn Women's Basketball fan. Raymond was a weather buff who also enjoyed doing puzzles, Sudoku and trips with his family to Long Beach Island. He was a loving husband and wonderful father and took great pride in his children and grandchildren. Survivors in addition to his beloved wife include his devoted children Laura Abriola and husband Darryl of Orange, Richard DeNomme and wife Holly of Milford, William DeNomme and wife Jill of Trumbull, Lisa Fazzino and husband Paul of Shelton, and David DeNomme and wife Dana of Trumbull, eleven cherished grandchildren Alex and Tasha Abriola, Daniel and Alyssa DeNomme, James and Lauren DeNomme, Vincenzo and Isabella Fazzino, Grady, Remy and Parker DeNomme. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00p.m., in the Redgate – Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place. Interment will follow in Nichols Village Cemetery.
