Regina M. Ogden, 47, beloved wife of John Ogden, cherished mother of Sean and Kaitlyn Ogden, died on November 18, 2011. She was a 10 year resident of Monroe.
Loving daughter of Mr. Edward Carroll & Mrs. Kathleen Carroll of Fairfield, CT. She was born in Bronx, NY. She is also survived by her sister Rita and her husband Anthony and their two children; her brother Edward and his wife Karen and their three children; her father-in-law, Paul Ogden, her sister-in-law, Rosemary; her sister-in-law, Paula and her husband Jeff; and her brother-in-law, Stephen.
Regina was a beloved wife, daughter, mother, sister, aunt, daughter-in-law, cousin, and friend. She will be so missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
Regina worked for Gintel & Co., Inc. since 1983. She started in the Mutual Fund division, working her way up through the company to Assistant Controller and ultimately reaching her way up to Vice President of the company.
Regina was an active member in the Monroe School Community - volunteering with Parent Teacher Councils at the Elementary, Junior High, and High schools ever since she moved to Monroe. She was also involved in the Masuk Alcohol and Drug Program as well as the Post Prom committee. She was a familiar and smiling face at her children's basketball and volleyball games, always shouting encouragement to everyone on the team.
To her family she was protective, gentle, and loving, often putting their needs in front of her own. Regina would have it no other way. She set a strong foundation for her children to build upon and left a lifetime of memories for everyone to smile on.
Her friends knew her as a warm, giving person, who was there for them, as they were for her, whenever any of them needed someone to listen, laugh, or cry. She loved to get together with them at the local coffee shop or at a mutual friend's house.
