Richard (Ricky) P. Haight, Jr., of Shelton entered into eternal rest on Thursday, November 3, 2022.

Ricky was born in Bridgeport, CT on June 17, 1982 eldest son of the late Richard P. Haight, Sr. and Maria Elena (Mendes) Haight.

Ricky was a graduate of Porter Chester Institute Architectural/Civil CAD program and most recently enjoyed his newfound work as an official Uber driver.

Ricky was a gentle, quiet man with a dry sense of humor and known on occasion as "slick" Rick for some of his "shenanigans".  Recently, despite his own limitations, Ricky took on many caregiving roles to assist his father who was battling cancer.

In addition to his beloved parents, his brother, Matthew J. Haight, predeceased Ricky.

Survivors include two sisters, Lauren V. Haight and Kaycee Heyse, paternal grandmother, Mary L. Haight, aunts Maureen Silveira (Mario), Tina Sellers (Calton), Catherine Ming (Elton), uncles Bryan (Lewann), Thomas (Melody) and Carlos Mendes (Miriam), one niece and several cousins.

Friends are invited to greet the family on Sunday, November 20, 2022 from 4-7pm at the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home in Trumbull CT with a prayer service at 6pm.  Additionally, a celebration of Ricky's life will be held at a future date.
