Robert F. Buckley, age 85 of Trumbull passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018 in his home. He was the beloved husband of the late Dolores W. Lapinski Buckley. Born in Bridgeport, he was the son of James and Bertha Buckley and had been a Trumbull resident since 1969. He was a graduate of the University of Bridgeport with a Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Robert served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was employed for 25 years at Bullard Corp. then for an additional 25 years in management with Producto. In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by his brother Gerald (Jerry) Buckley and his sister Maureen Carloni. He is survived by his nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday at 9:00 AM meeting directly in Christ the King Church, 4700 Madison Avenue, Trumbull with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford.
