Robert A. D'Agostino, age 53 of Milford, previously of Bridgeport passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2010 at Yale New Haven Hospital. Robert is survived by his fiancé and love of his life Karen Hallstrom and her daughter Kristen, his best friend and sister Sue Marinko, his three brothers, Anthony, Donald and his wife Karen, and Bill and his wife Lisa D'Agostino, his father Tony D'Agostino, his four nieces Sally and Jennifer Compo, Danielle and Nicole D'Agostino, his cousins especially Brett Sobkowich and his wife Gloria and many lifelong friends. He is also survived by Karen's brothers and sisters and their spouses, Bob and Deb Voets, Kathleen and Shawn Freel, Beth and Ed Anderson, Rich and Donna Voets and their children. Robert joined his late mother Sue D'Agostino in heaven after a short and exhausting battle with cancer. He will always be remembered and cherished by his family who is glad he is finally resting in peace. He was also an avid reader, diehard Red Sox fan, and had a love of music that inspired so many. Friends may greet his family Tuesday 4pm to 7pm in the Redgate - Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull. A Prayer service and Reflections will begin at 7pm.
