Robert A. D'Attolo, age 71, of Monroe, entered into eternal rest on January 22, 2009 at the Veteran's Hospice in West Haven. Bob was born in Bridgeport on April 6, 1937 the son of the late, Libero and Antoinette D'Attolo. He graduated from Central High School and served in the US Army Special Forces from 1958-1961. Bob enjoyed the arts and was even an instructor at Arthur Murray studios. He was very talented artistically and he worked as a Graphic Artist for Three Brothers Sport shop in Milford for many years until starting his own business "BobArt". He was a member of the Church of Scientology and he had a passion for the English language. Bob also enjoyed the outdoors and had a love for camping which was evident by his backpacking trip from California to Connecticut. Bob's life, although cut short, contained enough experience, love, and laughter to fill many life times. Bob was predeceased by brothers Joseph, John, and Phil D'Attolo, and a sister Margaret Beaumont. He is survived by three brothers Enrico D'Attolo and wife Eleanor of Bridgeport, August and wife Peggy D'Attolo of Stratford, and Frank and wife Judy D'Attolo of Oregon, and five sisters Evelyn and husband Francis Paradiso of Shelton, Mildred and husband Guy DeAngelo of San Diego, California, Nellie Grosko and Libera D'Amico of Monroe, and Rose Anderson and husband John of Newtown as well as many loving and adoring nieces and nephews.
